A note from the founder
Why I am building this
Assalamu alaikum. I kept hearing the same thing from friends, cousins and parents at the masjid: the apps feel like dating apps, families are left outside the door, and sisters will not put their photos where anyone can see them.
So Wali Marriage is built the other way round. The wali is part of it from the first message. A woman's photos stay hidden until she chooses one person to show them to. Once a conversation opens, the families can talk to each other too. There is no fake activity and no face-first deck: you meet one person at a time, and her photos wait for her yes.
It is a small, careful effort, and I read every message that comes in. If something here would not work for your family, tell me. That is how it gets better.
