What we aim for
We aim for this website and the Wali Marriage app to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had an independent audit, so we do not claim that we meet it.
What we have done on this website
- Body text and secondary text meet the AA contrast ratio of 4.5 to 1 against the page background.
- Pages use headings, lists and labelled form fields, so screen readers can move through them.
- Forms show errors as text, not by colour alone.
- The cookie choice can be opened again from every page footer, and it works with a keyboard.
What we have not yet checked
- A full test with VoiceOver, NVDA or JAWS on every page.
- Every screen of the app with VoiceOver and with the largest text sizes.
- Captions or transcripts for any video we publish later.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this website or in the app is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, email support@walimarriage.com with the page or screen and what happened. A person reads every message, and we will reply within five working days.
